Why hyperexponential
Pricing decisions are the biggest decisions insurers make – but most are still pricing 21st century risks with 20th century tools. With a combined 30 years of experience designing pricing and analytics ecosystems in the insurance industry, our co-founders saw an opportunity to transform the market.
They saw the need for a scalable way to turn small, sparse, or fragmented data into new insights that drive smarter decisions - and realised that this is how the market leaders of tomorrow will develop their competitive edge. So they built hyperexponential, and the world’s first pricing decision intelligence platform, hx Renew

Amrit Santhirasenan
The co-founder and CEO of hyperexponential, Amrit is a qualified actuary and software engineer with over 12 years of experience in the Lloyd’s of London insurance market.
Michael Johnson
The co-founder of hyperexponential, with more than 15 years of experience in pricing and developing cutting- edge pricing tools for the actuarial world.
Richard Gunn
With a background in strategy consulting and building his own ventures, Richard joined hyperexponential as one of the first hires in 2019 and is now Chief Revenue Officer.
Tim Whelan
Tim has a wide background in technology and product, and experience across a range of Fintech startups and scale-ups. Tim joined hyperexponential in 2021 and is the VP Engineering.
Emma Kelly
Emma has a rich background in senior leadership finance roles across a number of sectors. She joined hyperexponential in 2023 as the Chief Operating Officer.
Noel Sequeira
Noel is VP of Product & Design at hyperexponential, and brings extensive experience in enterprise software from his time as a product leader at venture-backed scale-ups and as a startup founder
